                                                           Safety Program Procedures

 

 

The district safety program shall provide for:

 

1.             A district safety officer, being the superintendent or his or her designee;

 

2.             A district safety committee;

 

3.             A building safety officer for each attendance unit in the district;

 

4.             First aid, ordinarily, to be administered only by the holder of a current first-aid card;

 

5.             Policies and procedures for safety inspections, accident prevention in-services, accident reporting systems, safety devices, and safety instructions;

 

6.             Emergency information on all students, giving telephone number, address, place where parents or legal guardians may be reached, and name and location of family physician;

 

7.             Identification of students with special problems to alert instructors;

 

8.             Compliance with the safety requirements of all regulatory agencies.
