New directors must qualify by taking an oath of office before assuming the duties of office. The oath of office shall be in the following form:

I, _____________________, being first duly sworn, will support the Constitution and laws of the United States and the State of Oregon and will discharge the duties of school director to the best of my ability so help me God.
