Updates

        Update on DHS New Construction

Staff input, Community Member Sub Committee working with Site Council

Site Council will work with the staff for input on the new building and the community group will work with the community on the community input.  Time line for building looks like this school year will be for the inspection and assessment of ground etc. Tear down will start over the summer and building will start into the following school year and summer.

• SRO. Kevin Van Atta – Vaping, Drug use, Alcohol

RO will be getting information out to the kids on Vaping etc.

• Grad Coach-Reina Pike

Helping improve senior graduation rates and freshmen on Track.

• Measure 98 Update

$520,000 from the State. $320,000 going to CTE and $200,000 to Academic Support, Graduation, College readiness and incentives.

• Suicide Awareness Month

Leadership is running a campaign that includes inspirational messages, suicide hotline postings and a mental health assembly.

Member Concerns –Ideas?

Follow up on Freshmen Wheel. All Freshman try a class IE. A quarter of woods, metals, band and art.
